A year later...

I wrote my last journal about a year ago. During this period I was away from dA as much as I was away from Real Life©.

What changed through this year?
  • After a lot of bowel troubles, I have received a somewhat sad diagnostic: I have Crohn's disease. The symptoms now are almost gone after a radical change of my diet; drugs alone didn't suppressed the pain completely.

  • I'm still fighting depression, but now with a twist: physical fatigue. Sometimes I feel better though.

  • Got myself a new camera (a Canon 40D) after the old one crashed into the ground. It was just stupid to left the camera strap hanging from the table; sometimes I forget that Magoo (my ferret) is just way too much curious...

  • Made just a few new photos; edited even fewer pictures.

  • Lost one of my two beloved ferrets. Rest in peace little Zoe.

  • Leased a new car.

  • Learned how to make some tasty breads - on a bread machine 'cos I'm lazy.

  • Sweared a lot.

  • Got an year older - but not any wiser, duh.
I'm trying really hard to get back at photographing these days. Sunday was my first photo shoot in many months and this was the result:
